Please help our community remain safe and follow these guidelines for visiting the Akaroa Health Centre for appointments, COVID19 vaccinations, and COVID19 tests.
Entry into the Facility:
Prior to entering you must scan the QR code, sanitise and put on a mask. Social distancing rules of 2 metres
apply.
COVID vaccinations:
We continue to deliver vaccinations to people 12 years of age and above at all levels. Vaccination days are
Wednesdays and Thursdays between 9am and 4:30pm
Please call reception on 03 304 7004 to make a booking. You do not need to be registered with us to receive a vaccine.
COVID testing:
We encourage anyone with cold and flu symptoms or who has had contact with COVID case to get tested.
We can undertake COVID tests in the car park daily - call 03 304 7004 to book.
Patients will remain in the car while 2 staff wearing full PPE conduct the test.
Patients who have a COVID test should isolate until the results come back.
GP appointments:
Patients can be seen in person however we will continue to offer phone appointments. We will be limiting appointment numbers and ask that only the patient and one support person (if required) come to the booking.
